Intro Construction/Carpentry
SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE!! Course Description: The Construction/Carpentry program is designed to prepare students to perform entry-level carpentry tasks under the supervision of an experienced, carpenter. Construction/Carpentry students will receive instruction in construction materials, hand tools and power tools, basic blueprints reading, basic communication skills, basic employability skills, materials and fasteners, floor system, wall and ceiling framing, roof framing, shingles, and basic stairs layout.
