Discover Sign Language

This is an online 6 week, 24 hour course. Discover Sign Language will teach you how to sign basic phrases and complete sentences and how to put it all together, allowing you to introduce yourself and start a conversation. Along the way, you will learn signs for colors, numbers, locations, family, and the activities you like to do. Throughout the course, you will learn by watching videos that demonstrate how to make the signs and how to incorporate facial expressions to communicate in this beautiful language. This course introduces students to the essential concepts, principles, and regulations of Life, Accident, and Health insurance, with a focus on practices that follow the outline specific to the South Carolina Department of Insurance. Students will explore the fundamentals of life insurance, health insurance, annuities, and related products, including policy types, underwriting, risk assessment, and claims processes. The course also covers topics including but not limited to legal and ethical considerations, state-specific regulations, and the role of insurance in personal and financial planning.
