Community Resources

Horry-Georgetown Technical College has been a vital part of the Grand Strand region of South Carolina since it was founded in 1966. In addition to more than 80 degrees, diplomas, and certificates, HGTC offers a number of services to the people of our community.

The Fowler Dining Room

HGTC offers a delicious and affordable dining option to the public on the Grand Strand campus. The Fowler Dining Room features exquisite culinary preparations of second-year Culinary Arts students who prepare and serve innovative, upscale fare.

Personal Care and Services

HGTC offers a wide variety of luxurious personal services to the public at its two VIP Training Centers on the Conway and Grand Strand campuses. These services are performed by students under the direct supervision of HGTC faculty, who not only teach but are also highly regarded practitioners of their professions.

Dental Clinics

The Charles F. Freeman Community Dental Clinic is a brand-new, state-of-the-art facility that, with the help of volunteer dentists and our Expanded Duty Dental Assisting students, allows us to treat patients, particularly children and veterans, who need fillings or extractions. The dental hygiene clinic has specialized in dental exams, cleanings, and X-Rays since 1998.

Richardson Gallery

The Richardson Gallery provides an elegant, artistic environment on the Conway campus that is ideal for holding celebratory events, hosting meetings for special guests, and providing a pre-session setting for meetings and conferences.

Doing Business with HGTC

The HGTC Procurement Department acquires, distributes, and manages materials for the best possible quality, service, and delivery to support the needs of the College and to manage College assets effectively and efficiently.
