SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE. You must also register for Greenkeeper Lab 2. In this class you will learn: Plant Science- Introduction to turfgrass. Cool vs Warm season turf. Warm season turf focus. Plant identification & life cycles. Plant parts and function. Renovate and repair turf surfaces. Strategies for establishing and maintaining turf. Integrated Pest Management-Identify and control weeds, pests, diseases and turf disorders on the golf course playing surfaces. Strategies for controlling weeds, pest and diseases using an integrated approach. *Each Unit contains a practical standard carried out by fieldwork which allows each student to develop the skills and knowledge (LAB). 6.000 Continuing Education Units

Maintain and renovate bunkers. Maintain and renovate non turf areas (pathways, penalty areas). Apply materials such as fertilizers, top dressing and seed across areas of the golf course. Equipment calibration. Soil testing. Professional Development- Communication. Team building. Information collection and reporting. Educational opportunities. *Each Unit contains a practical standard carried out by fieldwork which allows each student to develop the skills and knowledge (LAB). 24.000 Continuing Education Units
