Online Career Training Programs that are Self-paced
These courses are more in depth and typically last anywhere between 3 to 12 months. Horry-Georgetown Technical College, in partnership with ed2go, offers online open enrollment programs designed to provide the skills necessary to acquire professional level positions for many in-demand occupations. Our programs are designed by a team of professionals from each respective field, providing you with effective web-based learning programs. Instructors/mentors are actively involved in your online learning experience, responding to any questions or concerns, as well as encouraging and motivating you to succeed.
Verification of Citizenship
Horry-Georgetown Technical College is in full compliance with the South Carolina Illegal Immigration Reform Act (Section 59-101- 430 of the SC Code of Laws). All students must provide proof of citizenship or lawful presence in the United States to attend any public institution of higher education in South Carolina.

Service Plumbing Technology
SCHOLARSHIPS AVAILABLE. This class will give you the skills needed to assist a plumber. Plumbing is a fulfilling career that allows you to combine knowledge and innovation with the ability to create and build with your hands. It also offers tremendous benefits and career potential. While many career paths require years of schooling and tuition payments, the field of plumbing allows you to train while working! The need for skilled plumbers and skilled trade work will always be in demand and cannot be outsourced or replaced by machine! The Service Plumbing Technology Program is a one semester training program that teaches you the skills to begin your career as a plumber. Course include Basic Plumbing, Basic Plumbing Repairs, Plumbing Safety & Tools and Plumbing Connections & Tests. 120 hrs. Please note this class will run over two semesters. This class will not allow you to sit for license as a plumber but will start you on the track. 12.000 Continuing Education Units
