Comprehensive Permanent Improvement Plan
According to South Carolina regulations, each agency must complete a plan of the permanent improvement projects anticipated over a five-year period, based on funding availability. The Comprehensive Permanent Improvement Plan (CPIP) is a tool that informs legislators and other statewide governing entities of the planned permanent improvement projects an agency desires to initiate over a five-year period. The CPIP also promotes awareness of funding needs for permanent improvement projects and informs the Joint Bond Review Committee and State Fiscal Accountability Authority of the projects that may be forthcoming through the approval processes.
