Chef Vincent Pellat from the Ritz-Escoffier in Paris conducts master classes and demonstrations for students at the International Culinary Institute of Myrtle Beach on the HGTC Grand Strand Campus.
Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC)’s International Culinary Institute of Myrtle Beach (ICI) held an exclusive culinary event featuring Chef Vincent Pellat, renowned chef instructor and advocate for eco-responsible cuisine from the Ritz-Escoffier in the famed Ritz Hotel in Paris. As part of HGTC’s commitment to excellence in culinary education, the ICI hosted Chef Pellat for a week of master classes on the Grand Strand Campus.
Chef Pellat honed his expertise in the kitchens of the most prestigious establishments in Paris, including “La Maison du Denmark” and “L’Atelier Joël Robuchon.” His culinary journey led him to renowned hotel institutions such as the Collectionneur and the Cercle National des Armées. In 2018, Chef Pellat transitioned to culinary teaching, sharing his knowledge through workshops in Paris.
His commitment to eco-responsible cuisine led him to take charge of the kitchens of a Parisian restaurant, earning the establishment the highest level with three (3) Ecotable macarons in just six (6) months. As Head Teacher at the Ritz Escoffier School, Chef Pellat not only imparts culinary skills but also instills values of sustainability in the next generation of chefs.
“We were honored to host Chef Vincent Pellat from the Ritz-Escoffier in Paris. His expertise and commitment to eco-responsible cuisine aligned perfectly with our mission at HGTC.
