The South Carolina Forestry Foundation's Board of Trustees recently announced the recipients of its prestigious scholarships, aimed at recognizing and encouraging outstanding forestry students across the state. Among the distinguished recipients is Ashley Rom, a dedicated Forestry & Wildlife Management student at Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC). 

Ashley Rom, hailing from Conway, SC, has been awarded a $2,000 scholarship in recognition of her exemplary academic achievements and demonstrated leadership potential within the field of forestry.

Established in 1980, the South Carolina Forestry Foundation serves as the educational, conservation, and research arm of the Forestry Association. Since 1987, the Foundation has been steadfast in its mission to support the next generation of forestry professionals through scholarship opportunities.
