New workforce scholarship offered at HGTC to qualified applicants

(CONWAY) May 26, 2017 – Horry-Georgetown Technical College has just announced the new workforce scholarship available for students enrolling for fall. Students should apply early to take advantage of these workforce grants by filling out a scholarship application. The funds may be used for tuition and books and will be given to qualified applicants who apply first.

HGTC President Dr. Marilyn Murphy Fore states; “There has never been a better time to begin or continue your education. HGTC offers programs on campus or online in extremely lucrative career fields such as; Health Care, Engineering, Culinary Arts, Computer Technology, Advanced Manufacturing and many more!”

HGTC offers college transfer and skilled associate degree programs in more than 65 fields of study. Nearly all programs feature internships that lead to jobs. Ninety-five percent of students either transfer to earn advanced degrees or start careers in their respective fields of study.
