South Carolina Future Farmers of America (SC-FFA) are coming to Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC)
for a wildlife career development event Sat., Feb. 8, on the HGTC Georgetown Campus.
From 9-11:30 a.m., more than 200 high school students from around the state will participate
in competitions to win awards for individual and team prizes. The winning team will
earn a trip from the college to the national competition.
The competition will include both hands-on practical exam questions about animal skins, skulls, management tools and a written exam. Natural resource management professionals will also be in attendance to talk with students about careers.
