Horry-Georgetown Technical College (HGTC) is thrilled to announce its collaboration with the American Physical Therapy Association South Carolina (APTA-SC) to offer a comprehensive Manual Therapy Course Series, approved by both APTA-SC and the SC Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation.
As the sole professional organization representing physical therapists and physical therapist assistants in South Carolina, APTA-SC is dedicated to advancing the practice of physical therapy in the state. This partnership with HGTC underscores the commitment of both organizations to promote excellence in the field of physical therapy.
The Manual Therapy Course Series consists of five courses and will be conducted at HGTC's Grand Strand Campus, located at 3501 Pampas Drive, Myrtle Beach, SC 29577.
The course dates are as follows:
- Course One: September 16-17, 2023
- Course Two: November 4-5, 2023
- Course Three: January 27-28, 2024
- Course Four: April 20-21, 2024
- Course Five: June 8-9, 2024
This series is a valuable opportunity for both experienced physical therapists and those looking to expand their skillset. The curriculum is designed to enhance manual therapy techniques and provide participants with advanced knowledge and hands-on experience.
Course fees are as follows:
- APTA-SC Members: $450 per course
- Non APTA-SC Members: $500 per course
